It's Early Wednesday and here's what you missed Tuesday

Boogiewoogie is out doing something with a bunch of kids and instead of appearing on Amber Alerts or showing up on Megan's Law list, he is being paid to do those activities, thus it may be legit. So here's what you missed in case you were keeping an eye on your kids - like he may be doing... wink wink.

- Pete "UK Headhunter" Thamel has written another article about the University of Kentucky recruit Enes Kanter. We here at SportsThat love Enes, thus we hate Pete Thamel. Thamel's article, not linked on purpose to avoid sending any hits his direction, basically is an updated he said/he said between everything that has countered his first article and Fenerbahce officials. He shows no new updates and once again nothing substantial. He has lost credibility and the headhunt he is on is worse than going to 4th street live with CouryFlurry 5 years ago.

- Apparently, Pete Thamel got scooped into an actual NCAA violation case while he was busy searching out dirt on Kentucky. The guys at CollegeBasketballTalk.com report that Clark Kellogg and Thad Matta along with Ben Howland violated NCAA rules during the recruitment of current Oregon State player Roberto Nelson.

- John Calipari held his "Meshing Academics and Athletics" open forum today. Media members that get paid to write about sports, confirmed that Calipari did little talking about academics and lots of talking about his 2010 team. He revamped some phrases from 2009 again stating that some of his players think they "poop ice cream" and the he "expects to lose early".

- Don't forget to register to win tickets to Big Blue Madness. Ryan Shooter will be drawing for the tickets and you can register by retweeting "I would like to win tickets to BBM from sportsthat.blogspot.com @sportsthat " or commenting on this linked article. The winner will be annouced Oct 13th!
