LEO's Indiscretion of UK Transgressions

This is the second image produced by a google images search of "Seedy K"

"Seedy K" of the LEO Weekly is "reporting" (I use the term loosely) today of 'transgressions' by John Wall and Demarcus Cousins concerning potential cash money and/or real estate. Let's be clear, its the Louisville Eccentric Observer, not the New York Times,Washington Post, New York Daily News, ESPN, or even the prestigous Courier Journal. But paper is paper and when you print it - its there forever.

Seedy prints this article based on two sources - one he/she claims, in a "friend-of-a-friend" sort of manner, is a New York  Times writer - the other is someone from "one of the major online sports sites."

The planted one goes on to mentioned "facts" in the following order:

1) John Calipari has a track record that would not rule out such a situation.

2) These two players, by their actions, indicated they would have played for Calipari at North Dakota A&M, if that’s where he was coaching.
3) None of the Tobacco Road schools surprisingly gave a serious look at Wall, though he was a local kid.

All of these facts seem to be opinion based items and aren't anywhere close to "facts" as suggested. In fact, I believe Duke was a finalist for Wall (along with 'Miami'), I having a hard time calling the winningest team in history "North Dakota A&M", and when did Calipari give money to a player?

All I can tell, based on this Seedy character, is that the LEO is printing "idle gossip" now and that the readership at the Eccentric Observer was down this 'week' - thus this cheap, short term fix.

Your thoughts?

---- Update ----
KSR had a little something to say about the LEO's poster as well.

  1. What a douche. Does this guy think he is breaking the Watergate scandal or soemthing? This sounds like another "DeMarcus Cousins knocked out a student" story.
