I'm not looking ahead or anything, but...

I'm never going to win a National Championship! Where's my bourbon?

West Virginia's starting point guard Darryl Bryant is out for the remainder of the tournament with a broken foot. He will be replaced by Joe Mazulla, a guy averaging 2.2 points per game and 2.3 assists per game. Joe Mazzulla may be best remembered by Louisville fans for the ball bouncing off his head and out-of-bounds but the refs giving the ball back to West Virginia anyway. Louisville lost 77-74. Ooops!

Bryant started 31 games for the Mountaineers this season. His loss will give Washington a little more chance to win the game. Actually, I think Washington can win this game. Quincy Pondexter and Isiah Thomas are both playing well. Thomas is averaging 17 points in the tournament.

  2. I'm really not sure how old this photo actually is. He now wears exclusively velvet jump suits.

  4. UK fans do want Washington to win cause that will mean UK would have to beat seeds #16, #9, #12, and #11 (avg 12 seed) in order to get to the Final Four.

    Impressive!!!

  5. As long as they get there then what does it matter? If the lower seeds beat the higher seeds then obviously they must be better than those higher seeds. Pretty bad logic on your part if you ask me.

So I guess IF UK wins it all then UofL fans will say it doesn't count or it doesn't matter because the competition wasn't good enough to get there. Nice one.
