Big East Tourney Recap and Look Ahead. SEC Starts Today.

First off the scores from last nights Big East Tournament games:

Georgetown def. South Florida 69-49
Marquette def. St. John's 57-55
Notre Dame def. Seton Hall 68-56
Cincinnati def. Louisville 69-66

I went .500 in the games yesterday. I picked the wrong upset. I should have went with the Cincinnati upset over Louisville but the Cards tricked me again when they beat Syracuse. Oh well! Let's look at the games that will be played later today:

Georgetown vs. Syracuse 12:00 p.m
Marquette vs. Villanova 2:00 p.m.
Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh 7:00 p.m.
Cincinnati vs. West Virginia 9:00 p.m.

The picks:
Syracuse over Georgetown by 11
Marquette over Villanova by 5
Pittsburgh over Notre Dame by 7
West Virginia over Cincinnati by 14

The SEC tournament begins today in Nashville. The first round bye's go to Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Mississippi and Mississippi State. The match-ups are as follows:

South Carolina vs. Alabama 1:00 p.m.
LSU vs. Tennessee 3:15
Auburn vs. Florida 7:30 p.m.
Georgia vs. Arkansas 9:45 p.m.

This tournament is pretty lame on day one and really doesn't have any interesting games. But I will make some picks none the less.

South Carolina over Alabama by 8
Tennessee over LSU by 20
Florida over Auburn by 12
Georgia over Arkansas by 4

There you have it! Enjoy the games today.
