Early in the season, ESPN released their new NBA Mock Draft tool. Designed to simulate the lottery and mock draft all-in-one. Since early in the season, ESPN has placed John Wall #1 - no matter who gets the privilege to draft him. Kentucky's Demarcus Cousins between 5-10 and Patterson around 10-12. ESPN's most recent updated Mock Draft tool has moved Cousins up in the list as well as added a familiar name: Eric Bledsoe.
With predictions of a weak point guard class, his 3pt hot streak in the NCAAs have had the scouts falling over Ashley Judd - this time in a stampede past her to see Bledsoe's skills.
ESPN's Chad Ford also indicated today that Daniel Orton could be a lottery pick depending on who eventually falls into the NBA's untouchable list. If Ford's predictions turn true, that would make 5 wildcats in the top 14 picks.
