Requiem for a Dream: National Championship Game: Kentucky vs Kansas

Kentucky vs Kansas will be epic as Duke vs Butler is EPIC FAIL

Huge game tonight. The Wildcats meet the Jayhawks in what is the seasons #1 vs #2 teams all year. The Cats come in after a stellar beat down of the Blue Devils in the Final Four and a come from behind win against the Mountaineers, where John Wall took over, in the final minute of their regional Final game.

Kansas on the other hand was a split second away from losing to Michigan State in the National Semi's before a technical foul on Tom Izzo sent Kansas to the line for the win. Before that, the Jayhawks managed to show Evan Turner that he really isn't the National Player of the Year.

Kansas is a 1.5 point favorite but the crowd's favorite is the other blue team. It is decidedly a Wildcat family friendly atmosphere. The Kentucky Blue Tidal Wave came sweeping from Lexington and rolled right into Indy on Saturday.

Tickets are sky high with the hopes of the Cat faithful and the Indy market is booming with blue tees, hats, and Kentucky haters. This marks the 1st time since 1998 that the Cats have been back to the finals in a season to remember.

If Kentucky can keep hitting their free-throws and 3s, I look for Kentucky to remind Xavier (remember its Zaa-vee-yay) Henry (no its not On-ree) why he should have picked the Cats.

The party will be rocking into the wee-morning hours if the Cats pull this off. I don't expect WVU couch burning, but close.

Go Cats!!
