Knight Watch: 19 hours to go

With the big Brandon Knight press conference less than 22 hours away, news is flowing out concerning the pending decision on where Brandon Knight will attend school. Worried Cat fans are buzzing around for opinions, news, reassurances and while there's little of note, here's the latest:

• The New Haven Register reports Knight has had contact with UConn. There is no word on what the contact was, but he contacted them. This could mean he is changing course and will land in Storrs tomorrow. This could also just be the common courteous the player is paying to Jim Calhoun and company to say "No Thanks".

• Adam Zagoria says the CJ Leslie from North Carolina will be a package deal with Mr Knight. Leslie says he believes the duo would play well together. They would play even better together at Kentucky.

• In the same article, Zagoria mentions that Knight's recruitment is far from final. An unknown source says if Knight had decided, this circus would be out of town.

• John Calipari audio tweets today that “They’ll be some things announced Wednesday; hopefully there is going to be a lot of Kentucky attached to it.” Hopefully for Cal, he isn't hoping at this point. 

• As the Republican American announces, if Knight picks anything but Kentucky, the recruiting world will be upside down. I just advise you to watchout for walking under high rise windows in Lexington.
