The Late Late Show with Rick Pitino...

It's late but the bubble doesn't sleep, and sometimes I feel the same way. With a late game tonight, 9:30pm EST, the Louisville Cardinals were at Marquette. At the start of this game, everyone worth asking had the Cards as a lock to make the NCAA tournament (everyone except Samardo Samuels  - you can debate if he really worth asking).

Tucan SamSam, may have just been issuing a potential self fulfilling prophecy and if he did believe his statment he hasn't made any effort to change the outcome (as of now 0pts on 0-3 shooting). The Golden Eagles have lead since the 11-11 tie with 13:00 to go in the 1st. After the half, the Cards didn't fair much better as they failed to score until 13:00 to go. A 14 minute draught from the field that saw Marquette go up 23 (46-23) and potentially put the Cardinals season in jeopardy again. Hopefully I'll be sleeping by the end of this one, but I don't think it'll be time to put the bubble debate to bed just yet.

Update: Marquette 60 - Louisville 40 5:30 remaining

  1. Dude, they suck really bad at times. I couldn't do the live chat last night because the room with my computer doesn't have the U. But I watched the game. It was hilarious.
