University of Kentucky assistant coach and former player Tony Delk has thrown his name into the hat to possibly be an assistant coach at Western Kentucky University. Tony Delk helped out with the Cats this season but he was further down the pecking order as far as assistants were concerned.
This could be a good spot for Tony. Although I would miss him around Rupp, I think that it would benefit him to go to a program where there is more room for him to ascend. Going up the ladder at UK would be hard with the other coaches in front of him. He could really make a name for himself there. Good luck Tony!
