Well, it's May. Recruiting is over. Basketball, Professional or Collegiate, is nearly over. Baseball will be the only thing we hear about for a few months.
So we need the little news. And yesterday, a little news came out that Kentucky Basketball lead the nation in attendence again this season with an average attendence of 24,111/game. That news shocks no one. The Cats have top the nation via Rupp for 14 of 15 years. Rupp is known for the electric atmosphere provided by the sheer number of people.
What is shocking however, at least to a Kentucky fan that gives the Cards so much grief, is that the Cardinals were #3 at 19,397 (#2 Syracuse at 22,152). Now, the study doesn't indicate if the fans were late, left early, or includes the number of people left drinking in the parking lot at half time.
So congratulations to the Cards for ranking in the top 5 on some list for the 2010 season!
