The defense attorney representing Karen Sypher rested his case this morning without calling a single witness. Being that his main witness is crazy and has slept with six of the twenty witnesses for the prosecution, this is probably a good idea. But remember, the burden was on the prosecution to prove that the defendant is guilty. If in the defense lawyer's eyes the prosecution did not prove their case, it would be unnecessary for the defense to present a case. The other school of thought would be that after the twenty witnesses, the recordings, etc., Karen Sypher as a witness would only stand to make her case worse. Maybe the defense lawyer just didn't want her to incriminate herself even farther by offering to blow someone on the prosecution. Or the judge. Or the court recorder. My prediction: Guilty verdict! He is a scumbag and will always be now this is completely out in the world. How can he continue with a new recruit? Everyone worrying about their wives around him? Maybe he could get work from Viagra.....LOL

ReplyDeleteWith the big football game less than a month away, the only articles that have been written by Cat fans revolve around the Sypher Extortion trial, how the Cards were picked to finish last in the Big East, and other notes from baseball and the NBA.
Where's all the articles regarding UK's football team? I've heard about Summer league ball involving former UK freshman, but nothing about the football team and the Joker era. Is this because there's nothing worth reporting on?
How come the U of L football team has more articles than the Cats?

ReplyDeleteAs for the Pitino story, we weren't drooling over it. All the drooling was done by Pitino at Porcini's and it wasn't over the meatballs.
