Do what Terrence Williams says, not as he does... did... you get it

"A foursome - heck yes I will - ah man...what would Coach Rick Pitino do?" The short old one first Terrence, the short old one first.
Terrence Williams, the rookie out of Louisville, needs help. He's playing for the worst franchise in the league. His team was just bought by a Russian Billionaire that can't throw enough money at anyone to be their coach and he's going to have to move from New Jersey to Brooklyn after just one season! Although, that move might be a good thing though come to think of it.

Williams has worries and troubles but he did record his first ever triple-double this weekend. Williams recorded a career-high 27 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal. But without some help, his moment may only see time on ESPN’s new pitched network: “ELMN (ESPN Lifetime Movie Network).” It’s a sports themed station that features a Lifetime Movies for men feel, better known as a channel for all those E:60 movies. Terrence Williams’ potential movie, “Shareef Abdul Raheem: Resurrection.”

You remember "Reef" right? The guy with the catchy nickname, had one career triple double that happened to occur his rookie season, was the 'star' on of a bad Grizzlies when the Grizzlies were in Vancouver, was traded to a good Sacramento team but was lost among real stars? No? Really? Sorry to give away the plot of the new movie– and, well – the ending.

Terrence or you can call him T-Will is following his footsteps of Reef. He has that catchy nickname (see T-Will), has one triple double (in his rookie year no doubt), could be considered the star of a bad team that is about to move cities (see New Jersey to Brooklyn), and who knows – by the time the last chapter’s through, he might be on a contender – just on the bench.

But don't worry, T-Will knows what it takes to ensure the best chances at the #1 draft pick and with it, the presumed #1 John Wall. What is that? An 11-66 record. He was quoted, in what seems to be a self-serving statement, last week by the New York Daily News giving advice to Wall, "My advice to John Wall is to leave school."

This comes just months after Terrence was signing autographs of “John Wall Sucks.” Looks like losing can do a lot for your thoughts. Besides, he did spend 4 years in Louisville and was witness to those Smith Furniture “Christmas in July” sale commericals. This time, his Christmas is the NBA draft – he just hopes he gets the first present. It just happens he’s shopping for help at the corner of State and Main in Lexington, for John Wall – That’s Who

  1. Does this article have a point? Other than to trash a kid who just posted his first career triple-double in the NBA? This is a guy who is averaging 15.4 pts, 6.4 rbs, and 7.0 asts. in the month of April (which was only slightly better than his March numbers). And yet during this streak of good basketball that has coincided with his team actually winning a few games, you try to compare him to a burn-out like Abdur-Raheem?

    A couple of things:

    1) Abdur-Rahim averaged 18 pts and 7.5 rbds during his career, so he's not exactly the poster child for NBA failure.
    2) Its Grizzlies. Not Grizzly's.
    3) Did you ever think that T-Will might have signed that autograph because a UL fan requested it? God forbid someone have a sense of humor.
    4) New Jersey is 12-69, not 11-66

I realize that some of those are small points, but if you're going to write a polemic, you could at least get your facts straight. This is the definition of a hack job. I'm shocked you had time to write it between watching Youtube videos of Enes Kanter in your underwear in your mom's basement and surfing for nude pictures of Sarah Palin.

  2. I believe the better story about a NBA failure is sitting on the Kentucky Bench...A UK assistant coach is out of jail this morning after being arrested for DUI. The 4th time??!!!
Jail officials say 43-year-old Rod Strickland was arrested just before 3 a.m. Sunday at Tates Creek and New Circle Roads.
In addition to DUI, he's charged with running a red light, having expired tags and insurance violations.
According to ABC News Strickland has been arrested several times before for driving under the influence when he played in the NBA.
Before coming to UK, Strickland worked with Coach Cal in Memphis as the director of basketball operations.
He then made the move to Lexington when Cal landed the head coaching job last year.
No statements have been issued so far the university or Coach Cal.

  3. For the record: Rod Strickland is an ASSISTANT COACH. When in the world did the assistant coach all of a sudden become as important or news worthy as the head coach. Is what Rod did wrong? Yes. Should he face some discipline? Of course.

But here is the kicker: The DUI's he has been convicted of before now was BEFORE he worked at UK.

P.S. I word if T-Will has the balls to tell John Wall he sucks to his face?

  4. John Wall is 6 ft 4 in and 195 lbs
Terrence Williams is 6 ft 6 in and 220 lbs

I'll take T-Will in that matchup.

  5. I wasn't talking from a fighting standpoint I was talking about Terrence being a man and saying something to his face instead of behind his back like a punk. I'm sure Terrence will be all smiles if John Wall is drafted to the Nets and will have nothing but nice things to say. Because he is a punk.

  7. Terrence Williams = NBA superstar within the next 3 years. Stupid article.

  8. Superstar? Really??? He may get his points, rebounds, and assist, but he'll never be a superstar as long as he's on a crappy team.
