Mike Hartline Arrested

Last week, the Kentucky Wildcats announced that they had accepted an invitation to the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Alabama against Pittsburgh. Marking a disappointing end to a mediocre season.

Last night, Quarterback Mike Hartline was arrested in Lexington for an incident involving a cheerleader, taxi cab, and a possible assault. He pled not guilty when arraigned this morning and will likely see a suspension for the post-season game. The arrest marking a disappointing end to a career best season.

Morgan Newton will be expected to start if Hartline is indeed suspended.

  1. And Boom Goes the Dynamite. What really sucks is that Hartline had the season of his life. I guess this kid is just cursed to remain a punchline around the UK fanbase. Kind of like the football program as a whole. Ouch. Sorry.
