Well, after a tumultuous off season and a sub par regular season, the University of Tennessee may have had enough of Bruce Pearl's antics. UT's AD Mike Hamilton said Tuesday in an interview with a Tennessee radio station that "The jury is out on what's going to happen with that at this point."
The statement refers to Bruce Pearl's future with the organization. Because of the violations Pearl admitted to this summer, his contract was voided and he is now working under a letter of appointment. It is still expected by sources close to the organization that Pearl will sign a new deal with the Vols but may have more restrictions and will be at a lesser salary. Hamilton went on to say that after the NCAA tournament that the season and situation would be evaluated and then a decision would be made.
Tennessee's first round game is Friday against #9 seeded Michigan.
