Samardo Samuels' mom has come out to claim that her son is not returning to Louisville and will stay in the draft. The last day that a college student can withdraw his name from the draft is May 8th and that day is fastly approaching.
It looks like Gorgui Dieng and Terrence Jennings are going to have to step up to fill the void, albeit a small one, that Samuels is leaving behind. Samuels showed flashes of being as good as he was touted to be coming into Louisville. He was known for playing soft whenever he played against a quality big man.
This is not to say that he will not be missed. His large presence in the middle was his biggest asset. Jennings has not been consistent but looks to be the guy in the middle.
- Since a scholarship has been made available, recruit Elisha Justice will be offered a scholarship by Rick Pitino.
- The Karen Sypher dog and pony show has been moved from June 1st to June 26th. I know we are all very, very excited about that.
Rick Pitino is ruining the game. His recruitment of two-and-done players is making this game horrible... blah, blah, blah...
